Ramon L. Pizarro specializes in intellectual property issues that include the evaluation of concepts and ideas, the preparation and filing of patents and trademarks, the prosecution of patents with the US Patent and Trademark Office, as well as issues involving litigation of patent and trademark infringement.

The Engineering Experience and Background You Need

I have been a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) since 1993. In addition to my standing as a registered patent attorney, I hold a B.S. in mechanical engineering and was employed as an engineer for years. I am the former secretary for the Rocky Mountain Inventors and Entrepreneurs Congress (now the Rocky Mountain Inventors Association). My clients benefit from my clear understanding of technical, scientific and engineering concepts and tools such as technical specifications for mechanical devices, electronics, software, computer parts, hardware and other inventions.

I can handle even the largest-scale cases by bringing in co-counsel and accessing my network of experts such as materials scientists and economists. For example, I helped get a $1.54 million judgment on behalf of my client in Climax Molybdenum Co. v. Molychem, LLC (United States District Court, District of Colorado 2008). Many of my clients have relied upon my services for over 10 years.
